Please consider the following information.

We offer a 4 Hour window from time of booking for free cancellation (excluding last minute bookings made less than 48 hours of arrival day). Thredbo has indicated that some dates may sell out so we encourage guests to plan early and pre-purchase passes online at https://www.thredbo.com.au/passes before the 4 hour free cancellation window expires as after this your booking is non-refundable.

AS ALL OUR BOOKINGS ARE PRE-PURCHASE WE HAVE A 100% NO REFUND POLICY. REFUNDS, CREDITS OR DATE CHANGES WILL NOT BE GIVEN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:-

1. Limits on lift ticket sales by Thredbo and you or your party being unable to secure lift tickets
2. Closure of lifts for any reason including but not limited to COVID19, lockdowns, travel restrictions or lack of snow.
3. Any illness including COVID-19
4. Any travel restrictions due to COVID-19.

Please also note that On Site Parking at Winterhaus is limited, subject to availability, must be pre-booked and costs $20 per night. There is plenty of free parking available at Friday Flat with a free shuttle bus that operates 8am to 5.30pm during winter that will drop you back near the lodge. The distance from the free parking to Winterhaus is around 900 meters and about a 10 minute walk. If you require onsite parking please contact us as soon as possible on 6122488995 to see if we have parking available for your dates.

We can only be accessed by climbing or descending many steep steps. DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO CLIMB STAIRS

Extra people are NOT allowed in the rooms. This includes children over 2 years old.

• Common areas will be closed 10.00pm - 7.00am. All noise must be kept to an absolute minimum outside these times.
• Under the Innkeepers act 1968 Winterhaus management may EVICT GUESTS WITHOUT REFUND who continue to make undue noise.
• Winterhaus reserves the right to terminate a booking without refund should any of the above conditions be broken.
• Loss of Room Keys shall be charged at $180 as locks have to be changed.
• Loss of car park keys shall be charged at $30 for a new padlock.
• Car parking is limited and subject to availability, pre-booking and a $20 per night fee. Car parks are available from 3pm and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
• Check in is from 3.00pm to 8.00pm and Check out is by 10.00am. Late checkout will be charged at $50 per hour or part thereof.
• A valid credit card will be requested from the occupant of the room when checking in. A $300 Pre-authorisation bond will be held until checkout.
• Your full reservation will be cancelled without refund if you fail to show by 9pm on your check in date without contacting us prior to this time.

Payment Policy

100% OF TOTAL BOOKING AMOUNT WILL BE CHARGED 4 HOURS FROM MAKING BOOKING. (Excludes last minute bookings made less than 48 hours before check in date). AFTER PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.
